Inspection and Verification

  1. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical system concerns.

  2. Carry out the mechanical shift functional test. Go To PINPOINT TEST A: MECHANICAL SHIFT FUNCTIONAL TEST .
  3. If the concern is still present after the mechanical shift functional test, GO to SYMPTOM CHART - Mechanical Shift .
