Seal - Output Oil: Removal

All vehicles

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
Disconnect the rear driveshaft from the transmission and position it aside. Refer to DRIVESHAFT .
Vehicles with 4-wheel drive
Remove the transfer case. Refer to TRANSFER CASE .
Using the special tools, remove and discard the output oil seal.

Vehicles with 2-wheel drive
Using the special tools, remove the transmission flange.
