Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the upper intake manifold. Refer to ENGINE - 5.4L (2V) for the 5.4L or ENGINE - 6.8L for the 6.8L.
  2. Remove the cylinder head temperature (CHT) sensor.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    2. Remove the CHT sensor.

  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
