Removal and Installation

- With vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
- Disconnect the lower radiator hose.
- Disconnect the transmission cooler tubes.
- Disconnect the upper radiator hose and the radiator overflow hose.
- Remove the bolts and radiator support brackets.
- Remove the four pin-type retainers and pull back the sight shield.
- Disconnect the three pin-type retainers and two wiring retainers. Position the cable so that the radiator can be moved forward.
- Remove the radiator assembly.
- Remove the bolts and the cooling fan shroud, if necessary.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Check and top off the transmission fluid level.
