Crankshaft Rear Seal with Retainer Plate: Removal

- Remove the flexplate. Refer to FLEXPLATE .
- Using the special tools, remove the crankshaft rear oil slinger.
- Using the special tools, remove the crankshaft rear seal.
- Remove the oil pan. Refer to OIL PAN - AUTOMATED EQUIPMENT or OIL PAN - MANUAL TRANSMISSION .
- Remove the bolts and the crankshaft rear seal retainer plate.
