Oil Pump: Removal

  1. Remove the timing chains and the LH timing chain guide. Refer to TIMING DRIVE COMPONENTS .
  2. Remove the oil pan (6675). Refer to OIL PAN - AUTOMATED EQUIPMENT  or OIL PAN - MANUAL TRANSMISSION .
  3. Remove the oil pump (6600).
    • Remove the three bolts.
    • Remove the oil pump.
