Inspection and Verification

  1. Verify the customer concern by operating the power exterior rear view mirrors.
  2. Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical and electrical damage. Refer to the following chart:

  3. Verify components or systems related to the fuse for correct operation. If the components or systems are not operating correctly, the fuse(s), fuse feed circuits or fuse load side circuit(s) may be faulty.
  4. If the fault is not visually evident, determine the symptom. GO to SYMPTOM CHART .
