Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the console. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
  2. Remove the instrument panel steering column cover (04459).

  3. Remove the engine cover.
    • Unfasten the engine cover latches.
    • Lift the engine cover upward from the floor, and remove from the vehicle.

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
