- Verify the customer concern by operating the audio system and the video cassette player (VCP) with the engine running and the vehicle in and out of motion.
- Visually inspect for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical damage.
- If an obvious cause for an observed or reported concern is found, correct the cause (if possible) before proceeding to the next step.
- If the fault is not visually evident, proceed to the DM100I AND CDX6 SPEAKER WALK-AROUND TEST AND SELF-DIAGNOSTIC MODE .
