New Generation Star Tester

Turn ignition off. Ensure proper memory (EPROM) card is inserted into New Generation Star (NGS) tester. Connect service connectors of adapter cable to vehicle Data Link Connector (DLC) and NGS tester. See Fig 1. Connect NGS tester power supply cable to vehicle battery power supply through cigarette lighter, at vehicle battery with alligator clip adapter, at dashboard power point or into pigtail power connector attached to DLC adapter cable and go to KOEO ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST .
