DTC P1108: Warning Indicator Circuit Fault Detected

  1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect generator 4-pin in-line harness connector C1019. In-line harness connector C1019 is located in left rear corner of engine compartment, above brake master cylinder. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Measure voltage between ground and male side of generator in-line harness connector terminal No. 2 (Light Green/Red wire). See Figure. If voltage is 10 volts or more, go to next step. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair short to voltage in Light Green/Red wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
  2. Measure voltage between ground and female side of generator in-line harness connector terminal No. 2 (Light Green/Red wire). If voltage is 10 volts or more, repair short to voltage in Light Green/Red wire between instrument cluster and generator in-line harness connector. If voltage is 10 volts or less, repair Gray/Light Blue wire between PCM and generator in-line harness connector. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
