Turbocharger Inlet Y-Pipe: Installation

- Position the turbocharger inlet pipe and install the turbocharger inlet clamp.
- Tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
- Install the EGR cooler clamp.
- Tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
- Install the RH bolts for the turbocharger inlet pipe.
- Tighten to 27 Nm (20 lb-ft).
- Install the LH bolts for the turbocharger inlet pipe.
- Tighten to 27 Nm (20 lb-ft).
- Check the system for leaks.
- Install the engine cover.
- Install the RH lower instrument panel finish panel.
- Install the floor console.
- Install the storage bin.
NOTE:
When installing the turbocharger inlet pipe into the vehicle, do not bend or twist the flex bellows.
NOTE:
Apply High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant to the bolt threads prior to installation.
