Trouble Shooting

Verify customer's complaint. Ensure battery posts and cables are clean and tight. Inspect drive belt. Ensure connections at generator, regulator and engine ground are clean and tight. Inspect battery junction box fuse No. 23 (60-amp). Check Brown fusible link ("C") and Yellow fusible links ("A" & "B"). Check central junction box fuse No. 14 (5-amp). Turn ignition on and ensure charge warning light operates. Check bulb and circuit, if necessary. Start engine and verify charge warning light goes out. If problem is found, repair as necessary.
