Hub & Wheel Bearings: Reassembly

  1. Clean knuckle bearing bore and hub bearing journal. If hub bearing journal is scored or damaged, replace hub. DO NOT attempt to service hub. Replace bearing if disassembled for any reason.
  2. Install outer snap ring. Using a press and Pinion Bearing Cup Replacer (T80T-4000-E), install wheel bearing. See Fig 1. Install inner snap ring. Install wheel hub into steering knuckle using Threaded Drawbar (T75T-1176-A). See Fig 2.
