Fuel Rail Pressure (FRP) Sensor

- Release the fuel system pressure. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION-GASOLINE & DIESEL .
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Disconnect the fuel rail pressure (FRP) sensor electrical connector and the vacuum hose.
- Remove the bolts and the FRP sensor.
- Disconnect the FRP sensor electrical connector and the vacuum hose.
- Remove the bolts and the FRP sensor.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:
Before installing the FRP sensor, inspect and lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
NOTE:
Hand-tighten both bolts before tightening to specification.
