Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve - 5.4L (2V): Installation

NOTE: The EGR valve sealing surfaces are soft metals.

Carefully clean both sealing surfaces.
- Install a new EGR gasket and the EGR valve.
Install the EGR valve.
- Tighten the bolts in two stages.
  - Stage 1: Tighten the bolts to 20 Nm (15 lb-ft).
  - Stage 2: Tighten the bolts an additional 90 degrees.

Connect the EGR valve tube upper fitting and EGR vacuum hose.
