Removal and Installation

Remove the radiator. For additional information, refer to RADIATOR - 6.0L Diesel .
Disconnect the electrical connector. Release the wiring from the stator.

NOTE: Use a hole in the fan hub to prevent the fan from turning.

Using the special tool, loosen the fan clutch by turning the wrench counterclockwise. Remove the cooling fan and clutch.
Remove the bolts and cooling fan stator assembly.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
