Oil Cooler: Installation

    NOTE: Make sure the tab on the oil filter adapter nests into the notch in the oil cooler.

  1. Position the oil cooler on the oil filter adapter and install the threaded insert.
  2. Install a new oil filter.

  3. Connect the coolant hoses.

  4. Install the oil drain plug.

  5. Fill the engine with clean engine oil.
  6. Fill and bleed the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
