Exhaust Manifold LH: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the engine cover. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
- Disconnect the differential pressure feedback exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) sensor hoses from the EGR valve tube.
- Remove the EGR valve tube.
- Disconnect the upper and lower fittings.
- Remove the tube.
- Disconnect the differential pressure feedback EGR sensor hoses from the EGR valve tube.
- Disconnect the upper and lower fittings and remove the EGR valve tube.
- Remove the front fender splash shield. For additional information, refer to FRONT END BODY PANELS .
- Remove the nuts.
- Remove the nuts and the exhaust manifold.
- Remove and discard the exhaust manifold gasket.
- Clean and inspect the exhaust manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE SYSTEM-GENERAL INFORMATION .
