Removal And Installation: Damper: Removal

  1. Remove the nut retaining the damper to the bracket on the steering linkage.

    2. NOTE: The RH damper bracket and the steering linkage bracket can be removed from the vehicle, if necessary, by removing the retaining bolts and nuts.

  2. Remove the nut and bolt retaining the damper to the RH damper bracket.
  3. Remove the damper from the mounting brackets.
