Test E: Warning Indicator Is Off With Ignition On

Disconnect generator 3-pin harness connector. Connect a fused (15-amp) jumper wire between ground and generator harness connector terminal "I" (Light Green/Red wire). See Figure. If warning indicator is illuminated, replace generator. If warning indicator is not illuminated, repair warning indicator problem as necessary.
