The power seat does not move horizontally/vertically	Front seat motors (14547). Circuitry. Front seat control switch.	GO to PINPOINT TEST E For vehicles with memory seats, REFER to the DTC INDEX .
The memory seat is inoperative	Seat control switch. Circuitry. DSM.	GO to PINPOINT TEST F
The memory seat does not operate correctly - does not operate using the memory set switch	Memory set switch. DSM. Circuitry.	GO to PINPOINT TEST G .
The memory seat does not operate correctly - the seat moves in one second intervals	DSM. Circuitry.	REFER to the DTC INDEX .
The memory seat does not operate correctly - the seat does not move to the correct memory position	DSM. Circuitry. Memory set switch. Memory seat.	REFER to the DTC INDEX .
The memory seat does not operate correctly - does not operate using the remote transmitter	Circuitry. Keyless entry transmitter. RAP module. DSM.	RUN DSM self test. If codes are present, REFER to the DTC INDEX ; if no codes are present, REFER to HANDLES, LOCKS, LATCHES AND ENTRY SYSTEMS .
The heated seat is inoperative	Fuse. Circuitry. Heated seat switch. Seat cushion heater. Seat back heater.	GO to PINPOINT TEST H .
The heated seat is inoperative - seat does not heat but the heated seat indicator illuminates when pressed	Circuitry. Heated seat switch. Seat cushion heater. Seat back heater.	GO to PINPOINT TEST H .
The heated seat is inoperative - seat does heat but the heated seat indicator does not illuminate when pressed	Circuitry. Dual automatic temperature control (DATC) module.	DEPOWER the supplemental restraint system (SRS). REFER to DISABLING SYSTEM . DISCONNECT driver seat safety belt buckle pretensioner C3133 or passenger seat safety belt buckle pretensioner C3134 of the affected seat and CONNECT restraint system diagnostic tool 418-133 to the safety belt buckle pretensioner of the affected seat. CONNECT the battery ground cable. CHECK circuit 461 (OG) for a fault. If okay, INSTALL a new DATC module. TEST the system for normal operation. Once the repair is complete, DISCONNECT the battery ground cable. DISCONNECT the restraint system diagnostic tool from the safety belt buckle pretensioner and CONNECT the safety belt buckle pretensioner of the affected seat. REPOWER the SRS. REFER to ACTIVATING SYSTEM .
No communication with the driver seat module - unable to carry out on-demand self test with the driver seat module	DSM. Circuitry.	WARNING: Be sure that nobody is in the vehicle and that there is nothing blocking or set in front of any air bag module when the battery ground cable is connected. DEPOWER the supplemental restraint system (SRS). REFER to DISABLING SYSTEM . DISCONNECT driver seat safety belt buckle pretensioner C3133 and CONNECT restraint system diagnostic tool 418-133 to the driver safety belt buckle pretensioner electrical connector. CONNECT the battery ground cable. CHECK the voltage of circuit 1003 (GY/YE) for greater than 10 volts. CHECK the resistance of circuit 1203 (BK/LB) for less than 5 ohms to ground. REPAIR the circuits as necessary. Once the repair is complete, DISCONNECT the battery ground cable. DISCONNECT the restraint system diagnostic tool from the safety belt buckle pretensioner and CONNECT the safety belt buckle pretensioner electrical connector. REPOWER the SRS. Refer to ACTIVATING SYSTEM If circuits are okay, GO to MODULE COMMUNICATIONS NETWORK .
