WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Mercury Mountaineer and 2004 Ford Explorer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- AG1 CHECK DRL MODULE OUTPUT
- Key in OFF position.
- Disconnect: DRL Relay C1000.
- Proceed to Step AG2.
- Key in ON position.
- Make sure the headlamp switch is in the OFF position and the parking brake is not applied.
- Measure the voltage between the DRL relay C1000-4, circuit 13 (RD/BK), harness side and ground.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
NOTE: For early build vehicles, do not complete this test step.Yes
