Battery Drains That Shut Off When Battery Cable Is Disconnected Test

  1. Repeat steps 1-6 of Battery Drain Test. See BATTERY DRAIN TEST .
  2. Without starting the engine, turn the ignition on for a moment and then off. If applicable, wait one minute for the illuminated entry lamps to turn off.
  3. Read the current from the multimeter.
