Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Cooler: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
  3. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustrations and tables.

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  5. Fill and bleed the cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
  6. Fill and check the transmission fluid. For additional information, refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL CHECK .
    • Check the system for leaks.
