Removal and Installation

WARNING: Do not smoke or carry lighted tobacco or open flame of any type when working on or near any fuel-related components. Highly flammable mixtures are always present and can be ignited. Failure to follow these instructions can result in personal injury.
NOTE: The electronic throttle body is serviced as a complete assembly. Individual components cannot be serviced.
  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT .
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to refer to AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY .
  3. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

  4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
