Removal and Installation

- Drain the engine cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
- Remove the cooling fan. For additional information, refer to refer to RADIATOR, COOLING FAN AND SHROUD .
- Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to ENGINE - 4.0L SOHV .
- Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Fill and bleed the cooling system. For additional information, refer to COOLING SYSTEM DRAINING, FILLING AND BLEEDING .
