Item 6: Axle Housing Removal Note

    WARNING: Secure the axle to the jack with a safety strap. Failure to follow these instructions can result in personal injury.
  1. Support the axle housing with a suitable jackstand.
  2. Disconnect the vent hose from the differential housing vent tube.

  3. Lower the axle housing approximately 25 mm (1 in).
