Removal and Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Remove the cooling fan and the cooling fan shroud. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
  3. Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT, TENSIONER AND PULLEY  .
  4. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
