Item 15: Outer Tie-Rod Removal Note

- Using the special tool, separate the tie-rod end from the wheel knuckle.
- Note the number of times the tie-rod ends turn for assembly reference.
- After removing the tie-rod end, remove the tie-rod end jam nut from the front wheel spindle tie-rod.
CAUTION:
Do not damage the tie-rod boot while installing the special tool.
