Removal & Installation

- Disconnect the battery ground cable.
- Disconnect the parking brake switch harness connector. See Fig 1 .
- Position the floor carpet aside.
- Remove the nuts and bolts from the parking brake control bracket. See Fig 2 .
- Disconnect the parking brake cable from the parking brake control and remove the parking brake control. See Figure
.
- Remove the front parking brake cable slug from the parking brake control.
- Depress the parking brake cable end lock tabs and remove the front parking brake cable from the parking brake control.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
