Front Disc Brake Pads: Installation

NOTE: Ensure the master cylinder reservoir does not overfill and spill brake fluid while retracting the front disc brake caliper piston.

To install, reverse removal procedure. If installing new brake pads, it is necessary to fully retract the front disc brake caliper piston in the bore before installing the front disc brake pads. Tighten locating pins and wheel lug nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Fill brake fluid reservoir with DOT 3 brake fluid and pump brake pedal several times to position caliper piston.
