Master Cylinder: Disassembly

- Remove the brake master cylinder. See MASTER CYLINDER & RESERVOIR under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
- Remove the plastic retainer. Remove the plastic hose fittings. Fig 1
- Push the primary piston in. Remove the valve stopper bolt. See Fig 2 .
- Remove the rubber bushings from the brake master cylinder. See Fig 3 .
- Push down on the primary piston. Remove the snap ring. See Fig 4 . Remove the primary piston.
- Remove the secondary piston. See Fig 5 .
