Stoplight Switch

  1. Check and adjust brake pedal height as necessary. See BRAKE PEDAL HEIGHT  .
  2. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
  3. Adjust the Brake Pedal Position (BPP) switch. Disconnect the harness connector. Loosen the lock nut. Adjust the BPP switch. Measure distance from brake pedal stopper to threaded end of stoplight switch. See Fig 1 . Switch height "A" should be 0.012-0.039" (0.30-1.00 mm).
  4. Tighten the lock nut. Reconnect the harness connector.
  5. Reconnect the battery ground cable.
