Instrument Cluster Self-Test
To enter the Instrument Cluster Self-Test Mode on the base instrument cluster, press and hold the instrument cluster trip odometer/reset button and turn the key to the RUN position until tESt appears in the integrated display. On message center clusters, press and hold the message center RESET button and turn the key to the RUN position until CLUSTER ENGINEER TEST appears in the message center. Press the trip odometer/reset or RESET button to advance through the displays. To exit the self-test mode, turn the ignition to the OFF position.

Turn the key to the OFF position or press and hold the trip odometer/reset button for 3 or more seconds and release to exit Instrument Cluster Dealer Test Mode. If no DTCs related to the concern are retrieved, proceed SYMPTOM CHART to the to continue diagnostics.
