INSTRUMENT CLUSTER C220A CONNECTOR CIRCUIT REFERENCE

Pin Number (s) Circuit Designation/Description Normal Condition/Measurement
1 608 (BK/YE) air bag warning indicator control circuit 0 volts, 5 ohms resistance or less between the instrument cluster and the RCM. Greater than 10,000 ohms resistance between the instrument cluster and ground.
2 1112 (WH/LB) B+ power feed, hot in the START/RUN position Greater than 10 volts in the START/RUN position. Less than 5 ohms resistance between the instrument cluster and the ignition switch and greater than 10,000 ohms resistance between the instrument cluster and ground.
7 1411 (GY/OG) message center switch input 0 volts, less than 5 ohms resistance between the message center switch and the instrument cluster. Greater than 10,000 ohms resistance between the message center switch and ground.
11 1001 (WH/YE) B+ power feed, hot at all times Greater than 10 volts with key ON or OFF. Less than 5 ohms resistance between the instrument cluster and the SJB. Greater than 10,000 ohms resistance between the instrument cluster and ground.
12 1203 (BK/LB) ground 0 volts, less than 5 ohms resistance between the instrument cluster and ground.
13 640 (RD/YE) B+ power feed, hot in the START/RUN positions Greater than 10 volts. Less than 5 ohms resistance between the instrument cluster and the SJB. Greater than 10,000 ohms resistance between the instrument cluster and ground.
14 703 (WH/OG) compass sensor module data line to message center 0 volts, less than 5 ohms resistance between the compass sensor module and the instrument cluster. Greater than 10,000 ohms resistance between the compass sensor module and chassis ground.
15 702 (WH/BK) compass sensor module data line to message center 0 volts, less than 5 ohms resistance between the compass sensor module and the instrument cluster. Greater than 10,000 ohms resistance between the compass sensor module and chassis ground.
19 1410 (TN/OG) message center return 0 volts, less than 5 ohms resistance between the instrument cluster and the message center switch. Greater than 10,000 ohms resistance between the instrument cluster and ground.
20 1205 (BK) ground 0 volts, less than 5 ohms resistance between the instrument cluster and ground.
