Belt Minder Deactivating/Activating: Preparation: Notes

NOTE: The driver and front passenger belt minder are deactivated/activated independently. When deactivating/activating one seating position, do not buckle the other position as this will terminate the process.
  1. Before deactivating/activating the belt minder, set the parking brake.
  2. Place the transmission selector lever in PARK.
  3. Key in OFF position.
  4. Unbuckle the driver and front passenger safety belt.
