Compressor Manifold & Tube Assembly: Installation

To install, reverse removal procedure. Coat NEW "O" rings with clean refrigerant oil. Add 2 ounces (60 ml) of clean PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil or equivalent to accumulator-drier inlet tube. Evacuate, charge, and leak test A/C system. See RECOVERY, EVACUATION & RECHARGING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING.



To install, reverse removal procedure. If a new compressor manifold and tube assembly is to be installed, transfer pressure cutoff switch to new compressor manifold and tube assembly. Coat NEW "O" rings with clean refrigerant oil. Add 2 ounces (60 ml) of clean PAG Refrigerant Compressor Oil or equivalent to accumulator-drier inlet tube. Evacuate, charge, and leak test A/C system.
