Removal And Installation: Notes

NOTE: Vehicles that are equipped with a trailer tow package will have this type of a cooling system.
  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  2. Remove the parts in the order indicated in the following illustration and table.

    To remove individual parts, only carry out the listed steps: 

    Parts Steps
    Auxiliary transmission fluid cooler 7-11
    Transmission fluid cooler tubes 1-7

  3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
