257 - ELECTRICAL ROUTINE 
  • No Electrical Concerns
 
357 - HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL ROUTINE 
Fluid   
  • Incorrect level
  • Adjust fluid to correct level.
  • Condition
  • Inspect fluid.

Cooler Lines 

  • Damaged, blocked, reversed, leaking
  • Inspect and repair as required.
Auxiliary Cooler 
  • Damaged, blocked, restricted or incorrectly installed
  • Inspect and repair as required.
Vehicle Concerns Causing Engine Overheating 
 
Main Control Valve Body 
  • Bypass Clutch Control Valve and Plunger, Converter Regulator Valve Cooler Bypass Valve/Spring - stuck, damaged
  • Inspect and repair as required.
Torque Converter Not Applying 
  • Seized Converter One-Way Clutch
Excessive Towing Loads 
 
  • Check gross vehicle weight (GVW).
Idle or Driveability Concern 
 
Incorrect Clutch or Band Application or Oil Pressure Control System
