- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to IDENTIFICATION CODES .
- Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY & CHARGING SYSTEM .
- If removing the ignition coil or spark plug wires, remove the wiper motor and pivot assembly. For additional information, refer to BODY SYSTEM - EXTERIOR
- Remove the parts in the order listed in Fig 2 and table.PART REMOVAL SEQUENCE
Part Steps Spark plug wires 2, 5, 6 Spark plug(s) 6, 7 Ignition coil 1-4 - To install, reverse the removal procedure.
