MATERIAL SPECIFICATION

Item	Specification
SAE 5W-20 Motorcraft Premium Synthetic Blend Motor Oil XO-5W20-QSP	WSS-M2C153-H

Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY & CHARGING SYSTEM .
If removing the camshaft synchronizer, drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
If removing the camshaft synchronizer, remove the accessory drive belt.
- Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner counterclockwise.
- Push the spring clip toward the belt tensioner to lock the accessory drive belt tensioner in place.

Remove the parts in the order indicated in Fig 3 and table.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Fill and bleed the cooling system. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING .
