Removal & Installation (2.0L)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove starter bolts. See Fig 1. Raise and support vehicle. Remove halfshaft support bracket bolts and nuts. See Fig 2. Remove battery cable and starter control electrical connector nuts. See Fig 3. Remove starter motor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
