Removal and Installation

NOTE: The hood latch control handle and cable are removed and installed as an assembly.

Remove the hood latch. For additional information, refer to HOOD LATCH .
Unclip the hood latch control handle and cable from the inner fender retainer.

Unclip the hood latch control handle and cable retainer from the inner fender splash shield.

Remove the 2 screws and position the hood latch control handle and cable aside.

Remove the hood latch control handle and cable.
1. Remove the hood latch control and cable grommet from the dash panel.
2. Remove the hood latch control handle and cable.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
