Power Window Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Ford Ranger. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The power window system receives power from the accessory delay relay. The accessory delay relay receives fused ignition voltage when the key is in either the RUN or ACCESSORY position. When the accessory delay relay is energized, it supplies power to the one touch-down (OTD) relay and the master power window control switch.
