One Touch Down Relay
The one touch down relay, which is located in the smart junction box (SJB), receives voltage from the accessory delay relay when the key is turned to either the RUN or ACC position. Voltage to the accessory delay relay is supplied on pin 5, and pin 1, circuit 400.
The one touch down relay is controlled by the SJB, and will only operate when the ignition is in either the RUN or ACC position. A one touch down request is initiated when the master window control switch is pressed down for approximately 62 to 320 ms. When the SJB senses a one touch down request, it will ground the OTD relay coil through pin 2. The OTD relay provides power to the LH front power window motor on pin 4, circuit 991, and moves the window to the full open position until one of the following conditions is met:
- Seven seconds have elapsed.
- The window glass reaches the bottom of the track, and window motor stall is detected by the SJB.
- The master window control switch is pressed up or down.
The one touch down feature has five inputs and one output. The inputs are:
- Ignition switch position.
- One Touch Down Sense High Input.
- One Touch Down Sense Low Input.
- Down Window Command Input.
- Up Window Command Input.
The outputs are:
- One Touch Down Relay Output.
