- F1 CHECK THE ACCESSORY DELAY RELAY
- Disconnect: Accessory Delay Relay.
- Carry out the ISO relay component test on the accessory delay relay.
Refer to the appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS for schematic and connector information.
- Did the relay pass the component test?
- Yes : INSTALL a new accessory delay relay. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self -test. TEST the system for normal operation.
- No : GO to F2.
- F2 CHECK THE ACCESSORY DELAY RELAY CIRCUIT FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE
- Disconnect: C2280c.
- Key in ON position.
- Measure the voltage between accessory delay relay C2050 pin 87, circuit 400 (LB/BK) and ground.
- Is voltage present?
- Yes : INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the SJB self-test.
- No : GO to F3.
- F3 CHECK ACCESSORY DELAY RELAY CIRCUIT 400 (LB/BK) FOR A SHORT TO VOLTAGE
- Measure the voltage between SJB C2280c-16, circuit 400 (LB/BK) and ground; and between SJB C2280c-20, circuit 400 (LB/BK).
- Is voltage present?
- Yes : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
- No : GO to F4.
- F4 CHECK FOR CORRECT MODULE OPERATION
- Disconnect: SJB C2280c.
- Disconnect: SJB C2280D.
- Check for:
- Corrosion.
- Damage or pushed-out pins.
- Connect all the SJB connectors and make sure they are seated correctly.
- Operate the system and verify if the concern is still present.
- Is the concern still present?
- Yes : INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the SJB self-test.
- No : The system is operating correctly at this time. Concern may have been caused by a loose or corroded connector. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
