Hood Alignment

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Ford Ranger. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Do not cover up a poor hood alignment with a hood latch striker adjustment.
  1. Raise and support the hood.
  2. Mark the current position of the hood hinges.
  3. Loosen the hood hinge bolts (four each side) enough to allow the hood to be moved.
