Pinpoint Test A: No Antenna Detected

  1. A1 INSPECT THE ANTENNA FOR CORRECT INSTALLATION OR PHYSICAL DAMAGE 
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Verify the PATS transceiver module is correctly installed. Refer to PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) TRANSCEIVER .
    • Enter the following diagnostic mode on the diagnostic tool: Clear Continuous DTCs.
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Key in ON position.
    • Enter the following diagnostic mode on the diagnostic tool: Retrieve PCM Continuous DTCs.
    • Is DTC B2103 retrieved? 
    1. Yes  : INSTALL a new PATS transceiver module. REFER to PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) TRANSCEIVER . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
    2. No  : The system is OK.
