    • Are all the front or all the rear lamps inoperative?
    1. Yes  : GO to  O3.
    2. No  : GO to O2.
  2. O2 CHECK THE VOLTAGE TO THE INOPERATIVE LAMP(S)
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Disconnect: Inoperative Lamp Connector(s).
    • Place the headlamp switch in the ON position.
    • Measure the voltage between the inoperative lamp connector harness side and ground as follows.
      Lamp Connector Pin Circuit
      RF parking C1043 2 14 (BN)
      LF parking C1023 2 14 (BN)

    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
    1. Yes  : REPAIR circuit 57 (BK) and TEST the system for normal operation.
    2. No  : REPAIR the circuit(s) in question. TEST the system for normal operation.
  3. O3 CHECK THE LIGHTING CIRCUITS FOR AN OPEN
    • Disconnect: SJB C2280c.
    • Measure the resistance between the SJB C2280c pin 3 (rear parking lamps), circuit 1339 (BK/PK), harness side and ground; or between the SJB C2280a pin 8 (front parking lamps), circuit 14 (BN), harness side and ground

    • Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
    1. Yes  : GO to O4.
    2. No  : REPAIR the circuit in question. TEST the system for normal operation.
  4. O4 CHECK FOR CORRECT SJB OPERATION
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Disconnect all SJB connectors.
    • Check for:
      • Corrosion
      • Pushed-out pins
    • Connect all SJB connectors and make sure they seat correctly.
    • Operate the system and verify the concern is still present.
    • Is the concern still present?
    1. Yes  : INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES . TEST the system for normal operation.
